An invitation to systolic geometry

In this talk, I will give a short introduction to systolic geometry, a field of geometry that began in the late forties by a theorem of Charles Loewner giving an optimal systolic inequality on the two-dimensional Torus. We will then discuss some geometric inequalities on the Klein bottle.
